Dr. Oetker Romania, in partnership with the federation, has invested a lot in the development of this sport in our country and we are already talking about a decade of projects and dozens of tournaments organized for talented young players of our country. Dr. Oetker Junior Trophy is the kind of tournament that propelled many of the great champions into the good world of tennis, and we are happy to find the name of Simona Halep on the list of those who have won important Tennis Europe tournaments, along with Martina Hingis or Kim Clijsters , Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer or Novak Djokovic. On behalf of FRT, I would like to thank all our sponsors and partners, welcome and good luck to all the athletes, coaches and other members of the delegations! ”, Said the official F.R. Tennis, George Cosac

Ivo Kaderka, President of Tennis Europe, said about organizing the ninth edition of the Dr. Oetker Junior Trophy: “It is my great pleasure to welcome you to this event, which is part of the Tennis Europe Junior 2021 tournament. Each year, more than 400 international tournaments such as this one provide gaming opportunities for approximately 20,000 young athletes from around the world, competing in all three age groups; 12, 14 and 16 & Under. Since the fourth decade, the tournament has given almost all professionals today a first taste of international competition. Game legends from Martina Hingis and Kim Clijsters to Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer won Junior Tour events on their way to Grand Slam glory. As the Tour continues to expand, so does the range of services offered by Tennis Europe. We have invested heavily in digital services, allowing players to enter or withdraw online from events, giving participants more freedom and responsibility in planning their competitive programs. More information than ever is now available online. Players can customize their profiles with photos and information about their game, while keeping in touch with the latest developments in the Tour on social networks, especially on the Instagram page dedicated to the Tour. Another innovation is Tennis Europe Junior School. Designed to prepare young athletes for the lives of professional tennis players, the school is supported by the ITF, ATP and WTA and covers a wide range of important topics, including anti-doping, media, nutrition and tennis integrity. I urge you to visit our website to see the multimedia content, which is translated into several international languages. It is important to recognize that many hundreds of tournament organizers, committees, clubs and officials work tirelessly each year to organize the events that make up the Junior Tour. I would like to express my gratitude to them and acknowledge the invaluable contributions of all sponsors and volunteers, whose generous support and hospitality make these tournaments possible. I also wish good luck to the players. I hope this event will be a successful, educational experience and – most importantly – a fun experience! Finally, I would like to thank everyone who came to visit the event. Whether you are here to compete, to watch or to volunteer, thank you for supporting the Junior Tour and I wish you all a memorable tour. ”
